Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Truvene ("AI Board of Directors," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

3. Subscription & Billing

• Monthly plans: Monthly plans renew monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next monthly charge and does not refund the current month.
• Founder annual plans: Founder annual plans are yearly commitments. You may cancel at any time to stop the next annual renewal; the current paid year remains active through its billing period.
• Refunds: Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable for the current month. Founder annual purchases include the published 7-day money-back guarantee for honest mistakes, billing issues, and users who tried it but did not click. The guarantee does not apply after heavy usage; annual refund requests outside that window are handled manually by support.
• Price Changes:We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice, but an active founder annual renewal price remains unchanged while that founder subscription remains active, except for taxes or legally required changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

4. Acceptable Use

Truvene is an AI research, brainstorming, comparison, and drafting tool. Outputs are AI-generated research aids and require human review. Truvene does not make automated decisions and must not be used as the sole basis for decisions that affect a person's legal rights, employment, education, healthcare, financial access, insurance, housing, public benefits, or other significant opportunities.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorization.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service.

Restricted Uses

You may not use Truvene, in whole or in part, for any of the following purposes:

• Automated hiring, recruiting, candidate ranking, promotion, termination, or workplace performance decisions.
• Credit scoring, loan eligibility, insurance eligibility, pricing, fraud risk scoring, or financial access decisions.
• Healthcare triage, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, patient prioritization, or emergency medical decision-making.
• Education admissions, grading, exam scoring, student ranking, or access-to-education decisions.
• Housing, tenant screening, benefits eligibility, immigration, asylum, legal status, or government-service decisions.
• Law enforcement, surveillance, biometric identification, emotion recognition, or profiling use.
• Critical infrastructure operation, safety monitoring, dispatch, or emergency response decisions.
• Substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, or compliance advice.
• Submission of sensitive personal data (including special categories under GDPR Article 9) unless expressly permitted in writing by Truvene.
• Any system classified as “high-risk” under applicable AI laws, including the EU AI Act, without Truvene's prior written approval.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe the Service is being used for restricted, unlawful, unsafe, or high-risk purposes.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for evaluating outputs, maintaining appropriate human oversight, and ensuring your use complies with applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Truvene and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the questions you submit. AI-generated responses are provided for your use but come with no guarantee of accuracy or completeness.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service provides AI-generated advice for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or other expert advice. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated responses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truvene shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. You may request a portable export of your data by emailing support@truvene.ai; we will respond within one month as required by GDPR Article 12(3) (right exercised under Article 20).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
